PLEASE USE THE ABOVE TABLE AS A GUIDE TO FIND YOUR CAT'S COLLAR SIZE. MEASURE YOUR CAT'S NECK TO CONFIRM YOU HAVE SELECTED THE CORRECT SIZE.

Use the below cat collar size chart to double-check your cat's measurement.

  1. Wrap a tape measure closely around your cat's neck and note down the measurement 
  2. Add 2.5cm/1 inch to this figure to allow the correct amount of space between their neck and the collar for a perfect fit.
  3. This is your cat's collar size. (If you don't have a tape measure - use a piece of string and a ruler)

If your cat already wears a collar that fits well, you can take it off and measure the inside circumference when it's fastened on the correct hole to find out your cat's neck size.

Cheshire & Wain collars are not suitable for kittens or cats that weigh less than 2.5kgs / 5.5lbs. We advise that your cat is at least 4 months old to wear a Cheshire & Wain collar unattended.

  • This collar can be personalised with your cat’s name or your emergency phone number.
  • There is a 12 character limit (including spaces). If you want to add something longer, please get in touch, and we can advise if it will be possible. 
  • Choose from gold foil, silver foil or no foil (blind).
  • Personalisation is in capital letters or numbers on the outside of the leather strap.
  • Please allow an additional 10 days for our collar personalisation service. 

If you do not want to personalise this collar please leave the personalisation box blank.

  • This collar is made from luxury leather and suede.
  • This beautiful and durable material will adapt with time as the collar comes into contact with the natural oils in your cat’s coat.
  • Colour transfer may occur if the collar gets wet but the dye is harmless and temporary.
  • The leather may become darker and richer through wear, as it matures with the personality of your feline friend.
  • Hardware can be polished with a clean cloth. Brass polish can be used on gold buckles.
  • Do not get spot on flea treatments on or near the leather - the chemicals will react with the leather causing discolouration that cannot be reversed.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for a long time and keep forgetting. The quality of the product and customer service deserve a good review even months later. I bought this collar for Christmas but they contacted me and told me that a lot of deliveries were delayed due to the Royal Mail strike. They had offered to expedite the shipping if I needed it for Christmas but I said it was alright. When I got the package, I was impressed by all the little details they put in. They put it in a nice cloth bag with print to make it look like an envelope from Santa. They included a hand-written note which I appreciated. The collar was in a nice box fit for a queen. At the time of ordering, I had requested a gold bell instead of silver in order to match the emerald gold charm I also bought. They went above and beyond and made all the hardware on the collar gold-tone. The collar was made with good quality full-grain leather, which is a huge step above the other “luxury” cat collars that are made with “genuine” leather which is actually a type of inferior leather. The stitching and hardware also met expectations. I tried taking the bell off but the metal was very strong and sturdy. My cat has a tendency to dip her collar into her food/water so the gold color of the bell has been fading but a lot slower than her other collars. Overall, it is pricey but you definitely get a sense of luxury and quality and I think it’s worth it considering how long cats live.

Purrfect!

I bought two of these collars for my beautiful cats, along with the Personalised House Tiger ID tags and the peridot charms (as they are August babies) and we all love them! I also bought two of the Louis Wain bowls for them too (I mean it was their birthday…. So they deserve to be spoiled!)

The quality of all the products we bought are amazing, the collar is made from great quality really soft leather and the colour is amazing and true to the photos on the site. The gem and the name tags are beyond cute and the bowls are adorable!

Really impressed with the amazing service from Cheshire and Wain, the products arrived beautifully packaged - no plastic - which is great for the environment and good to see. The despatch time was really fast, especially considering the name tags were personalised.

Could not be happier with all of my purchases, neither can my babies, they definitely look proud of their sparkly collars! (Even though you can’t really see in the photos through all their floof the green is gorgeous!) thank you so much C&W I’ll definitely be back again soon!

Feline Fabulous

I wanted the purrfect green leather collar for my 5 month old American Shorthair kitten, Oliver! It had to be just right, to compliment his beautiful coat and eyes. I was delighted to find the fern green, so much so, that I ordered two….one kitten size, and the adult size that he can grow into. Oliver feels quite handsome, and I couldn’t agree more! 🐾💚
